I have always had a good eye for perspective. In fact, from a very young age, I approached my creative playtime in a different way than most of my peers, and my parents tell stories about how I always took time to observe and analyze everything I drew or built, and, if I wasn’t happy, revised things calmly for as long as it took until it was time to step back and smile with satisfaction.
Ultimately, what began with crayons, Legos, and Kinex led to an early but serious interest in architecture, and eventually took my first classes at Syosset High School.
A few years later, I wonder what the version of me that first stacked blocks into intricate room-sized neighborhoods would say about everything I’ve learned and achieved since.
