The proposed design for this Coconut Grove apartment complex seamlessly blends modern amenities with the unique architectural language of the area, creating a harmonious living space for residents. My goal was to create an inviting space that promotes community interaction while still providing private spaces for residents. The program of this design is to enhance the existing aesthetic of Coconut Grove and to create a sense of place that is both functional and visually appealing. Each floor as you go up will rotate slightly to create a more dynamic plan and allows for unique views.
This apartment complex features a cafe and public pool, fostering a sense of inclusivity and opportunity for residents of the low socioeconomic area.
